Rhonda Thaxton, Owner PILATES INFUSION:
Rhonda has been in the education field for twelve years teaching children of all ages. She has always had a passion for sports and staying active. She enjoys volleyball, basketball, racquetball, softball, hiking, snowshoeing, cycling, skiing, kickboxing and competing in triathlons. She began her exercise career in 2000 when she became certified in personal training and also received the APEX nutritional/exercise training in the spring of 2001. After 2 busy years of training and teaching body sculpting and boot camp classes, she bought a retail store in the fall of 2002. After closing the store at the beginning of 2006, she decided to get back to her passion and recertified as a personal trainer. She started working with Ray Kahn in April and added kickboxing to her personal training. She got her certification in kickboxing in September of 2006 and now has eight consistant clients with her top client in excellent shape - 35 pounds gone as of February, 2007!
Rhonda has been interested in getting her pilates certification and thinks it is a great addition to all she teaches her clients. She feels the increase in core strength helps improve ability in all sports activities/competitions. She is hoping to get her certification completed by the beginning of 2008.
Rhonda's goals for the studio are to diversify and add more classes to the existing schedule. There will be new experienced instructors with training in a variety of fields with lots to offer. She is excited about PILATES INFUSION and wants to meet all the clients the studio has already. Be ready for great new things to come!
