OUR INSTRUCTORS

Rhonda Thaxton
Rhonda has owned Pilates Infusion for almost nineteen years, and every year brings wonderful, fun, new clients that are excited about changing their bodies and taking care of themselves to be able to do all the activities their heart desires! Rhonda's passions include: transforming men and women's bodies inside and out, enjoying outdoor activities like hiking, biking, swimming, running, triathlons, snowshoeing, and skiing.
She is trained in Reformer, Mat, Cadillac, Chair, Jumpboard, and Injury & Special Populations with STOTT Pilates. She has been in the exercise field for over 20 years, and has always been an athlete. Pilates has complemented her previous training as a personal trainer and fitness instructor. Additionally she is a certified Fascial Stretch Therapist.
"Pilates is very important to me in that it has reshaped my body and helped me through knee and hip injuries. My increased core strength has given me confidence to try new activities and push to do more. Working out on the reformer is exactly what my body needs when I am sore and stressed out. My flexibility has improved immensely! My joy as an instructor and owner is seeing my clients get strong and healthy. The result is a desire to become more active and enjoy life. Lengthened spines, strong cores, decreased pain, and toned & flexible bodies are all rewards from consistent Pilates training!"

Robin Sabella
Robin is a comprehensively trained instructor who gained her certification through Pilates Sport Center in Los Angeles, CA. She originally fell in love with the strength, control, and flexibility she gained through her 10+ year Pilates practice, and as her kids grew older, the timing in her personal life was finally “just right” to officially become a certified instructor. She has been teaching and sharing her love of Pilates ever since. From professional athletes and young dancers, to people recovering from injury or just trying to protect and reinforce their longevity of movement and balance - Robin loves helping people find all of the ways Pilates can improve their lives. Robin’s 2 children are now having their own adventures in college and earlier this year, her husband, Lance, accepted a new position that brought them to Denver! They have embraced this lively and welcoming city, enjoying walks around Wash Park with their Bulldog, Rigby, hiking, golfing, exploring new restaurants and more!

Alice Powers
Alice is Balanced Body Pilates trained and is currently working towards achieving her full Pilates instructor certification. With her law degree & career as an employment defense attorney, Alice is now broadening her passions to include the Reformer and other Pilates disciplines & is excited to join the Pilates Infusion Team of instructors.

Christina Tricarico
Hello, my name is Christina Tricarico. I am a Colorado native with a background in all things sports and fitness. I grew up playing most sports and have always had a passion for movement. I am happiest when outdoors, biking, hiking or just hitting red rocks for a grueling stairs workout. I went to college at CSU, and I came out with a degree in Health and Exercise Science with a focus on kinesiology and physiology. I’ve always had a fascination with the body and constantly love to explore new ways to keep moving. I am a fully certified personal trainer and group exercise instructor which I still do everyday and have been doing for 10+ years. After sustaining an injury, I couldn’t move much so I turned to reformer, which changed my life because I could move freely again with consistency, and I came back stronger than before. I decided to get certified in Pilates Reformer so that I could teach my clients the benefits of this different kind of movement. As an instructor I focus on helping clients achieve their wellness goals through mindful movement and balanced living, with a strong foundation in Pilates techniques and holistic health principles. I tend to focus on improving strength, flexibility, and overall body awareness. I want my clients to feel confident, empowered and strong when they come in for class! When I’m not teaching or working out, I love to cook, read, and spend time with family and friends!
